The British Lead Championships 2016 took place on the weekend of 24th and 25th September 2016 at Awesome Walls Sheffield.<br />With the recent announcements of climbing to be part of the 2020 Olympics, the anticipation was heightened to see who would come out on top of the lead climbing discipline. <br />The normal big guns were out, including Jim Pope, Orrin Coley and Will Bosi in the mens and Molly Thompson-Smith and Jennifer Wood expected to do well in the womens.<br />The scene was set for an exciting weekend of lead competition climbing.<br /><br />The British Lead Championships 2016 | Climbing Daily Ep.785<br />
